Lidzbark Warminski

We welcomed New Year in Lidzbark Warminski, a pictoresque small town whose castle, now accommodating a museum and a hotel, used to serve as a seat of the bishops of Warmia since the Middle Ages. Actually it is the outer bailey that houses the hotel, and our room was located in the former stable, but it sounds so much better to write that “we stayed in the castle”…
