Scientific background

I am a management consultant with strong scientific and engineering background.

I studied communications engineering at the Technical University of Gdansk, Poland, and at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, from where I hold a doctorate (Dr.-Ing.). My doctoral research focused on the mitigation of RF-related impairments in software defined radio terminals for second and third generation of mobile telephony (GSM, UTRA FDD/TDD) as well as Wireless LAN (in particular IEEE 802.11a). As a research assistant at the University of Karlsruhe, I gained expertise in digital signal processing and architectures, and successfully pursued several projects for industrial partners in these areas. My teaching record involves not only undergraduate and graduate courses but also supervision of 10 MSc, BSc and project theses. While dealing with telecommunications from a business perspective now, I continue to follow the advancements in communications technologies, including the LTE and WiMAX standards.

Please refer to the attached PDF document to find more about my research topics and publications.
